A plant based diet has been shown to reduce your risk of developing many of the world's most common diseases including heart disease, coronary artery disease, diabetes, colon cancer, breast cancer and prostate cancer.

Vegans live longer! A six year study of over 70,000 people by Loma Linda University showed that subjects who followed a meat free diet had a longer life expectancy and a 32% reduced risk of overall mortality.

A whole foods plant based diet helps to reduce inflammation and acidity often caused by a diet that is heavy in meat and dairy. This helps to promote healthy brain function, higher energy levels, an improved mood and glowing skin!

ANIMALS

150 BILLION animals are killed every year for meat production. Animals are sentient beings and have feelings and emotions just like we do. 

A plant based diet helps to eliminate the needless suffering of animals all over the world.

In order to produce milk, a female cow must first give birth. Within hours of being born her calf is traumatically taken away from her. The mother is then forced to express milk whilst the calf is either slaughtered at birth or raised for veal. To ensure a constant milk supply, the mother will then be artificially impregnated to give birth to another calf. She suffers this same cycle of pregnancy and separation several times in her life.

This is just one of the many examples of exploitation of animal agriculture, others also include the meat, fish and egg industries.

I’m not ready to go fully vegan but I want to learn more about the lifestyle. Can I still take the challenge? 
Absolutely! This challenge is open to anyone looking to improve their health and learn more about a plant based lifestyle. For best results we recommend following a fully plant based diet for the 30 days, however if you cannot commit to this then you can still use the challenge to learn more about optimising your health and making delicious plant based recipes.
How will I get enough protein on a vegan diet?
Easily! We have a whole section dedicated to protein where we will show you exactly how much you need and where to get it from. Spoiler alert: it isn’t hard!
What happens when I get cravings?
We’ve got a whole lesson on that very subject! We’ll help you manage your cravings for animal based foods and provide plant based alternatives that you can enjoy just as much. And when the 30 days are up those cravings will be a thing of the past!
Will going vegan help me lose weight?
A vegan diet isn’t a weight loss programme, however most people who go vegan find it easier than ever before to lose weight! As part of this course we will also share our best tips for fat loss on a plant based diet to help you reach your goals.
