We believe that switching to a plant based diet is the most important lifestyle change you can make to improve your health AND stand up for the planet we call home. 

But for most of us, the hardest part is just getting started! By taking the pledge, you'll get our help to guide and support you every step of the way.

We want to make following a plant based diet as easy and accessible as possible which is why choosing how you'd like to design your pledge is completely up to you - you might want to do one day a week or the full 7 days, it's completely up to you to decide.

By taking our pledge, you'll realise plant based doesn't have to be difficult, confusing or expensive.

How does it work?

  •  Share your pledge, your why, and tag 3 friends on your social media, use the hashtag #plantbasedpledge (optional).
  •  Use our amazing hub resources to help you on your journey! You’ll also receive emails throughout January to keep you on track. 
  • ​ Get involved! We’ll have weekly livestreams with ambassadors, athletes, and educators.
  • ​ Share your tips, recipes, and ideas in our Facebook Community Group and on socials using the hashtag #plantbasedpledge. You’re not in this alone!

I tried going plant based before and couldn’t do it. How will this be different?
A plant based diet is the healthiest on the planet, but due to a lack of education on the subject many people find it hard to implement into their lives. This is exactly why we created our Plant Based Pledge – to give you all the tools you need to succeed long term and support you along the way!
I’m not ready to fully commit but I want to learn more about the lifestyle. Can I still join the pledge? 
Absolutely! The pledge is open to anyone looking to improve their health and learn more about a plant based lifestyle. For best results we recommend following a fully plant based diet for as many days as possible, however if you cannot commit to this then you can still use the resources to learn more about optimising your health and making delicious plant based recipes. 

It's your choice to decide how long you want to pledge for, whether that be for 3 days a week or for a whole month, it's entirely up to you. 
How will I get enough protein on a plant based diet?
Easily! We have a whole section dedicated to protein where we will show you exactly how much you need and where to get it from. Spoiler alert: it isn’t hard!
I’m an athlete, will going vegan affect my performance? 
Yes… in a good way! Evidence is now mounting up to show that a plant based diet is the most effective for both health and performance, which is why elite athletes in a wide range of sports are making the switch. As part of the pledge, we will give you all the tools and resources you need to perform better than ever on a plant based diet.
Will going plant based help me lose weight?
A plant based diet isn’t a weight loss programme, however most people who go vegan find it easier than ever before to lose weight! As part of the pledge we will also share our best tips for fat loss on a plant based diet to help you reach your goals.
